Ccleaner never finds very many. I think that is because it only cleans what is absolutely safe. I've used "Free Registry Cleaner" for a long time, and found from experience that you don't want to remove all keys just because they are empty. Some programs (Microsoft is a culprit) use GUIDs as key names, and they refer to the key name - it doesn't have to have a value. Now, I don't know how many reg-cleaners can tell if a key name has a GUID. |
